I really wanted to push the boundaries of typical D&D character design and create something truly unique, which is why I gave her those striking deer features. Imagine a stealthy, agile rogue who also embodies the grace and wild beauty of a forest creature! When I started designing Dot, I envisioned a character who was both elegant and a bit mischievous. The idea of a D&D rogue with antlers adorned with flowers just popped into my head, and I ran with it! Her white hair against her spotted brown skin gives her a really distinct look that stands out in any party. I spent a lot of time on the details, from the subtle spots on her skin to the delicate blossoms woven into her antlers, all to bring this vision to life through digital art. Her outfit was also a key part of her character. I went for a practical yet stylish look: a black crop top for agility, baggy pants for ease of movement, and arm sleeves for a bit of protection and flair. And those hoof-like footwear? They're not just for show; they hint at her connection to nature and add to her unique silhouette. Every piece of her design, including the full-body pose and smaller variations I sketched, was chosen to reflect her personality as a quick-witted and nature-aligned rogue.
