Octo killer is on fire for all the splats during Frosty Fest bebe!!!🔥🔥🔥 #Splatoon3 #NintendoSwitch
Hey everyone! So, my previous post about my Octo Killer supremacy during Frosty Fest really got some traction, and a few of you were asking about how I manage to get so many 'supreme splats' – almost like an 'Octo Shower' of ink! I totally get it, sometimes you just want to rain down chaos on the enemy team, right? For me, a huge part of achieving that killer instinct comes down to weapon choice and understanding the map. During Frosty Fest, I found myself really excelling with a loadout that lets me be aggressive but also control space. If you're aiming for that 'Octo Shower' feel, where you're just constantly splatting opponents and pushing aggressively, I've got some tips! First off, let's talk about weapons that can create that "shower" effect. While there isn't an official 'Octo Shower' special in Splatoon 3, weapons with Tenta Missiles or Ink Storm can definitely give you that vibe. Tenta Missiles, for example, really feel like raining down destruction, especially when you target multiple opponents. I've had some epic moments unleashing a barrage of them, leading to multiple 'Splatted by' messages popping up on screen! If you're a fan of those, the Dapple Dualies Nouveau (which I saw a lot of during the Fest, and even got 'Splatted by' them myself a few times!) are fantastic. They're super agile, great for getting in close for those quick eliminations, and their special is the Tenta Missiles. Plus, they come with the Fizzy Bomb, which is perfect for laying down a quick 'Throw Fizzbang!' before you dash in. When I'm playing with a fast-paced weapon like the Dualies, my strategy is all about map control and flanking. Don't be afraid to push forward, but always keep an eye on your escape routes. Being able to quickly 'Respawn in 02' seconds (which, trust me, happens to the best of us!) means you're back in the action fast. Use your quick mobility to get behind opponents. A well-placed Fizzy Bomb can flush enemies out of cover, making them easy targets for your main weapon. During events like Frosty Fest, the objective often involves holding key areas. That's where teamwork comes in; sometimes a simple 'This way!' from a teammate can turn the tide. If you're feeling overwhelmed, don't be afraid to disengage and re-approach. Getting a 'Booyah!' from your team after a multi-splat feels incredible! Remember, being an 'Octo killer' isn't just about raw splats, it's about making strategic plays. Control the middle, protect your teammates, and use your specials wisely. Whether you're countering a 'MimicKingU' or rushing down a 'MR.TWINK!☆', understanding your weapon and the flow of battle is key. Practice with different loadouts, find what feels right for your aggressive style, and you'll be racking up those supreme splats in no time! Keep practicing, and I promise you'll find your own way to dominate the battlefield and leave opponents saying 'Ouch...'!
