Travel tips when planning your trip to Rome, Italy!🇮🇹

✨ Tip 1:

Public transportation is the best way to explore on a budget. The bus is free, clean & always on time. 🚃 It can get you to most places (minus the Vatican/Sistine Chapel - we took the metro there)

✨ Tip 2:

Hotels in the city centre can be expensive. Try VRBO or Airbnb for half the cost. 🏨 The outside areas are very safe from violent crime (just watch for pickpocketing).

✨ Tip 3:

Purchase tickets to activities in advance 🎟️. Not only do you get a better deal but also skip the long lines.

✨ Tip 4:

Explore after hours to see historical monuments at night. There’s a lot of character outside of busy hours! 🎬

✨ Tip 5:

Water fountains everywhere across the city⛲️It’s cold & fresh - just get a water bottle & refill it for free all day.

Fun fact: the original Roman water system is still intact.

✨ Tip 6:

It’s not called the City of Love for no reason😌. Enjoy all the Rome•ance 🌹 from sunsets & views to small street tables & sweet traditions.
