... Read moreHey everyone! So thrilled to share a deeper dive into my Leon from Brawl Stars art. As you might have seen, Leon is one of my absolute favorite brawlers to sketch, and his unique abilities offer so much creative freedom. I've always been fascinated by his super, the 'Smoke Bomb,' which grants him temporary invisibility. Trying to visually represent that 'invisibility effect' on paper was a fun challenge!
When I started these sketches, I really aimed to capture the essence of Leon's stealth attack gameplay. I imagined him just before an 'invisibility ambush' or mid-dash, and how that would look. The 'Nieon style' drawing, as mentioned in the OCR, was an experiment to highlight his mysterious, almost glowing presence when he's about to strike. I used some special pens and even UV light (as you can see in one of the images!) to make those glowing elements pop, really trying to embody that 'neon stylé logo' vibe. It's all about making him look cool and ready for action, just like in the game.
I also love exploring different visual takes on Leon. One of the sketches even plays with a 'Robloxsye' style, giving him a blockier, more stylized look, complete with a fun 'Shut UP!' speech bubble. It’s a playful nod to different art styles and how versatile Leon's design can be. While this particular set of sketches focuses on his classic look and this stylized version, visualizing popular skins like 'Trick or Treat Leon' is always on my mind for future projects. Each skin offers a new palette and mood, which is fantastic for artists, and I'd love to try a spooky version someday!
For me, translating game mechanics like his 'super invisibility effect' into static art means focusing on subtle hints: the swirl of smoke, the slight distortion, or the intense focus in his eyes just before he disappears. It's not just about drawing his character, but conveying his power and the excitement of his 'invisibility gameplay'. I often think about how these dynamic poses could inspire 'neon leon brawl stars wallpaper' designs or even cool 'hintergrundbilder leon brawl stars' for my phone or computer! Imagine having a vibrant 'neon cool Leon Brawl Stars wallpaper' that captures his stealthy energy.
I've even dabbled a bit in thinking about how a 'papercraft Leon' might look, or doing a full 'painting' to really bring out the vibrant colors and action. Drawing Brawl Stars characters isn't just a hobby; it's a way to connect with the game and its amazing community. What's your favorite Leon skin, or what brawler should I try sketching next? I'd love to hear your thoughts and see your own fan art!
