BEST neighborhood in New York City? ☕️📚🗽

I’ve decided that 2025 is the year I’ll explore more areas of New York - places I haven’t really spent much time in before. And what better way to do it than by sharing these experiences with you?

A few days ago, I met a friend in SoHo, and we decided to walk down to the West Village. Let me tell you - if there’s a neighborhood that truly breathes New York, it’s this one. Everything feels so charming and cozy, from the tree-lined streets to the cozy cafés. It’s definitely a must-visit when you're in the city.

And if there's one tip I can give you is: go with someone who knows the area. It makes all the difference when picking the perfect café to spend the afternoon.

Here are a couple of spots visited, loved, and recommend it

☕ For coffee, a quick bite, and getting some work done: St. George Coffee

The first floor is a sit-down area, but head upstairs if you need to work on your laptop. Just be sure to get there early to grab a good spot!

📚 For book lovers:

Three Lives & Company

It’s tiny but incredibly cozy - perfect if you're browsing or picking up a new read.

Have you been to the West Village?

Let me know your favorite spots in the comments - I'm looking to add more places to my list!👇

Their upstairs work area is cozy yet functional, allowing you to enjoy your favorite brew while being productive. Meanwhile, book enthusiasts will adore Three Lives & Company, a quaint bookstore filled with character and an excellent selection of titles. Browsing through its charming aisles is an experience in itself. Additionally, the West Village hosts various local events and pop-ups that reflect the vibrant arts and culture scene of NYC. From art galleries to music performances, there’s always something happening here, adding to its allure.
