I’m on day 5 of my Seeded Watermelon Mono Fruit Fast 🍉 and wanted to pause and be real with y’all for a second…

I’m doing this as a TEMPORARY detox, not forever. I’m listening to my body every step of the way. Yes, I’ve had headaches and other detox symptoms but that’s part of detoxing, especially when your body is releasing old toxins and adjusting to clean, hydrating, living foods.

But let me make this clear:

This is MY journey. I’m not telling anyone what to do. I’m just showing what’s working for me right now.

Long-term, my goal isn’t to eat only watermelon. My goal is a fruit-based, cooked WHOLE FOODS and raw plant lifestyle. A lifestyle that’s about variety, balance, and listening to my body. Mangoes, berries, grapes, seeded watermelon, nuts, seeds, healthy grains, greens, herbs….All of it. Not extremes, deprivation ,starvation, not trends. Just healing through real, whole, living foods and positivity.

I’m not a doctor, I’m not giving medical advice. I’m just sharing my experience, and if it inspires you to start your own version of eating cleaner, I love that for you. 🙏🏽

But please, PLEASE listen to your body, go slow, stay hydrated, and don’t feel pressured to match what anyone else is doing online.

This isn’t about perfection. This is about reclaiming our health, unlearning toxic eating habits, and realizing how much better we can feel when we give our bodies what they were designed to thrive on.

I’m walking this journey WITH you. Not ahead of you. Not better than you. Just choosing myself, one day at a time. I AM A STUDENT FIRST, let’s learn from each others experiences ♥️✨🫂

... Read moreEmbarking on a seeded watermelon mono fruit fast can be a powerful way to reset your body and embrace a fresh start toward wellness. Many people curious about fruit fasting often wonder about its effects and how to navigate the accompanying detox symptoms. Headaches, for example, are common during such fasts and often indicate the body releasing old toxins or adjusting to a cleaner intake. To support your detox journey effectively, hydration is crucial. Watermelon, with its high water content, naturally aids hydration, but supplementing with raw greens like wheatgrass, spinach, parsley, watercress, and dandelion greens—if tolerated—can enhance the detoxifying process by providing essential nutrients and supporting liver function. These greens should ideally be consumed raw to maximize their benefits. It's important to approach mono fasting as a temporary cleanse rather than a permanent diet. The real success lies in transitioning toward a balanced lifestyle rich in a variety of whole, living foods. Incorporating fruits such as mangoes, berries, and grapes, alongside nuts, seeds, cooked whole foods, and nutrient-dense greens creates a sustainable way to maintain vitality and avoid nutrition gaps. Listening to your body's unique signals during any fasting regimen remains paramount. Each individual may experience detox symptoms like headaches or mucus release differently — some may find these a sign of progress, while others might need to adjust their pace. It's about honoring your personal limits and avoiding extremes, deprivation, or trend-driven eating. This journey is not about achieving perfection but about unlearning harmful habits and rediscovering the vibrant health our bodies are designed to support with real, nourishing food. Sharing experiences within supportive communities can enhance motivation while emphasizing that everyone’s path is personal. Fruit fasting and plant-based healing offer pathways to reclaim energy, mood, and overall well-being, but always with mindfulness and self-care.
