Mini recap about me: We graduated mid-2025, went to Work & Travel, Mega with a J1 visa for 4 months, went back to Thailand in early 10, got a job at the end of the month and thought... Let's get a B2 ~ We filed for January 2026, but got an interview in Mina! Before the war, the news boomed, the same heart 😅, but finally got the "visa" in hand. 🥹✨

STEP 1 - Fill In Form DS-160 📋

First and foremost stage

Get into 👉 ceac.state.gov/genniv

⚠️ Things to remember: Save Application No. for good!

If you accidentally press out, press "Retrieve an Application" to resume.

Fill in everything according to the truth. Don't compose. Don't add.

Our case only works for 2-3 months. Salary is not high. Use Self-Sponsor and we use contact person as our head.

Security & background page If there is no drug record or problem, all "No" can be answered.

STEP 2 - Get Ready Photo 📸

Actually, it's better to finish before filling out the form. 😅

📌 White Background Figure Size 2x2 Inch Clear Face & Ear Seeing * No Accessories, Glasses, Hat, Etc. Use Figure Not More Than 6 Months *

✅ If the picture in DS form passes, the consul will not ask for the real picture, but need to print in case of 1-2 cards * just in case, and if the picture does not pass * that the BMA consul has taken inside, do not worry.

STEP 3 - Date appointment interview + pay 📅

STEP 4 - Prepare 📁

Conclusion: In our case, the ambassador only asked for a Passport! Other than that, no!

STEP 5 - Interview Day 🏛️

It's enough. You don't have to rush too much. If you're too fast, sit and wait at 📌 au bon pain, the radio building is not far.

Dressing: Be polite enough. We wear cream horse leg pants. Red shirt. 🤣 * ain't nobody judging. - How to dress, be sure. Wear it! *

There are about five checkpoints to go through. 👇

> Stage 1: Line up for stickers on passports. Leave all communication tools to security.

> Stage 2: Through Security, sit outside and call the queue (wait a little longer, chill). Before entering the room, there will be an officer calling around our reservation and asking if the photo is over 6 months old.

> Stage 3: Enter the interview room. Wash history by Thai staff first + collect fingerprints

> Stage 4: Move to the far corner to collect fingerprints again with foreign officials.

> Stage 5: 🌟 Actual interview with the ambassador!

Last Stage - Dialogue with the Ambassador 🎤

Our interview is not more than 5 minutes. Jung! Can choose to answer Thai or English. P.S. The ambassador speaks Thai too!

- Where to America? How long? To go with who?

If it passes, the ambassador will congratulate and collect our passports.

STEP 6 - Wait to get a pretty passport. 🛂

Choose to "send at home" from the time of filling out the appointment sheet.

Wait about a week, the transport will call, use the authentication card, pay about 400 baht, get a passport with B2 Visa for 10 years, go dominate! 🥹🎉
