My tattoo collection

Arm tattoo

- this is my most recent one. I want to build this into a 3/4 sleeve. Fossils are fascinating to me, so I wanted to incorporate them along with an old textbook look.

chest tattoo

- I got this one shortly after a vacation, where we took our daughter to a science museum. it was so much fun seeing her interact with the exhibits, and I felt like a kid again checking out one of my favorite dinosaurs, velociraptor.

shoulder tattoo

- this was my first! I went big and bold with this one, being my first. I've been a fan of gothic literature since I was introduced to it in high school. Plus, I love the different interpretations and symbolism in The Raven. I got this one during a big shift in my life, so I wanted something to mark a new beginning.

... Read moreTattoos are more than just body art; they are a form of self-expression and storytelling. Whether you're considering your first tattoo or looking to expand your collection, understanding the symbolism and meaning behind your choices is essential. My arm tattoo, inspired by fossils, represents a connection to history and the natural world, while the chest tattoo pays homage to nostalgic family moments at a science museum, where I bonded with my daughter over her curiosity about dinosaurs. The shoulder tattoo reflects my love for gothic literature, symbolizing new beginnings and personal growth through the lens of Edgar Allan Poe's works. When choosing tattoos, think about the significance each design holds, as tattoos are often permanent reminders of our past and aspirations. Incorporate elements that resonate with your life story or interests to make your collection unique. Additionally, research different tattoo styles and artists to ensure the outcome aligns with your vision. As the tattoo community continues to flourish, sharing experiences and inspirations can lead to a deeper appreciation of this art form.
