Why did I choose to write about Singa Snacks?
There are so many snacks store in Singapore but why did I choose to write about this one? I’m someone who loves eating these snacks, so when I see any store selling them, I will buy it 😋
After trying out so many, my favourite ones will be the ones in the coffeeshops. There is a difference in taste and texture as compared to the franchised stores. Not only do I prefer the taste from the store in coffeeshops, I also love being able to talk to the owners and build a connection with them. Sometimes I just need someone new to talk to feel happy 🥰
One thing I really like about Singa Snacks is the variety they have and it’s all handmade. It’s not just the usual red bean, peanut and coconut pancakes. They have flavours like Kaya Pandan, Black Sesame and many more! The best part? It’s not that sweet, which makes them perfect for people who prefer desserts with a more balanced sweetness or are a little more health-conscious.
Their Signature Peanut Butter Pancake is one of their popular items. I can definitely see why it’s a favourite. The pancake itself is soft and fluffy, and they were SO generous with the peanut butter filling 🤤 It wasn’t overly sweet either, which made it even better.
Can we talk about the muffins? There are so many flavours that you don’t usually see elsewhere. My favourite would be the Black Forest Muffin (but I forgot to take a picture because I ate it the moment I bought it 😭) It was moist, rich and chocolatey 🫶
I also enjoyed the Peanut Lava Choco Muffin because peanut butter and chocolate is one of my favourite combinations. Such a good snack if you’re craving for chocolate and peanut butter! And surprisingly, I really liked the Matcha Strawberry Muffin too. I’m not even a matcha girlie.
The waffles were really good too! I love that the waffle is not the soft kind, it’s more eggy and it’s not the normal thickness you will find elsewhere. Usually I will order the chocolate waffle but that day I was feeling blueberries 🫐 so I got that and it was so yumz, satisfy my sweet cravings.
Overall, this is definitely one of those places I’d get my snacks from if I’m around the area. Nothing too fancy, just comforting snacks with lots of flavour. If you’re around the area, I’d say it’s worth giving it a try🤭
