Go west along the mountain road along the Takano River and walk a little through the red torii gate.
Located in the mountains up the Takano River from Shimogamo Shrine,
Somewhat further away!!!!!!!
Parking: There is no private parking lot in the precincts
Paid parking is available nearby.
Goshuin: Because people are usually not resident,
The amulet and goshuin may be handled at Shimogamo Shrine.

御蔭神社は、下鴨神社の近くにありながら、山奥の静かな場所に位置しているため、混雑を避けて参拝できる貴重なスポットです。特に三が日のみ授与される限定のお守りは、地元の方だけでなく観光客にも人気で、その神秘的な雰囲気が心身をリフレッシュさせてくれます。 私も以前、叡山電鉄の八瀬比叡山口駅から高野川沿いの山道を歩きながら、自然の豊かさを感じつつ参拝しました。赤い鳥居をくぐると、空気が一変し、厳かな空気と清らかな水の流れに癒されました。こうした体験が神社参拝の醍醐味だと感じています。 また、御蔭神社は国指定の神社ということもあり、歴史と伝統が息づいています。境内には専用駐車場はありませんが、近隣の有料駐車場利用が便利です。御朱印は下鴨神社で受け取ることが可能なので、合わせて参拝計画を立てると良いでしょう。 このように、御蔭神社は単なるお守り授与の場ではなく、自然と歴史を感じられるパワースポットです。参拝後は心が満たされ、新しい年を迎えるのにぴったりの場所ですので、ぜひ次の初詣の候補に加えてみてください。
