東寺の月回廊イベントに参加した経験から、この期間限定の竹あかりの美しさは本当に圧巻でした。夜の東寺は普段とは違う神秘的な雰囲気に包まれ、数万個の竹あかりが境内を温かく照らし出す様子は、まるで夢の世界にいるかのようです。 特に五重塔との組み合わせは迫力満点で、灯りに照らされた五重塔の姿は写真映えも抜群。訪れた日はあいにくの雨でしたが、撮影する際にはちょうど雨が止み、濡れることなく楽しめました。また、スタッフの方々の対応も丁寧で、初めての方でも安心して参加できると思います。 拝観料は大人1,500円と少しお高めに感じるかもし れませんが、この幻想的な体験と貴重な夜の東寺を楽しむことを考えれば、十分に価値のある価格です。小中学生は500円、未就学児は無料なので家族連れでも訪れやすいのが嬉しいですね。 また、五重塔、金堂、講堂の内部拝観はできませんが、外観と竹あかりの共演だけでも十分楽しめます。京都の歴史や文化を感じながら、竹あかりの柔らかな灯りに包まれた東寺の夜散策は、京都デートや友人とのお出かけにぴったりです。 イベントは3月11日までと期間限定なので、訪れる際はぜひ早めの計画をおすすめします。冬の夜の冷え込みには注意しつつ、防寒対策をしっかりして幻想的な月回廊を満喫してください。私もまた次回は晴れの日に訪れて、違う表情の東寺を見てみたいと思っています。
