「キッザニアのキャラクターをイラストで描きたい！」と思った時、いきなり上手に“公式っぽく”描くのは難しいですよね。私はクアラルンプールのキッザニアで撮った写真（消防士・警察・パイロットなどの制服体験、ロゴ壁画、入口の看板）を見ながら、まずは“特徴だけを拾う”方法で描くと失敗しにくかったです。 まずコツは、キャラクターそのものを完コピしようとしないこと。検索で「キッザニア キャラクター イラスト」と出てくるような作風に寄せたい場合でも、①丸みのある輪郭、②目鼻口をシンプルに、③影は最小限、の3つだけ意識するとそれっぽい雰囲気になります。子どもが着ている制服は情報量が多いので、線を減らして“記号化”すると一気に可愛く見えました。 写真から描く時は、先に「制服のアイコン」を分解してメモします。例えば消防士ならヘルメットの形＋ジャケットの反射ライン、警察なら胸のバッジ位置＋パトロールカーの文字（POLISなど）、パイロットなら帽子のライン＋肩章（線の本数）みたいに、1職業につき2〜3個の特徴だけ残すのがおすすめ。全部描こうとするとごちゃついて、キャラクター感が薄れます。 ロゴや壁画を一緒に入れたい時は、文字をきれいに描くより「シルエット重視」が楽でした。まずロゴの外枠を図形として取り、次に太めの線で“読める程度”に文字を置く。色は写真からスポイトで拾うと統一感が出ますが、スマホなら「赤・青・黄＋白黒」のように5〜6色に制限するとUGCっぽい親しみやすい仕上がりになります。 子どもの記念写真をキャラクター風にする手順（私のやり方）は、①顔は輪郭→髪型→目を大きめ、②服はベタ塗り＋線2本くらいでシワ表現、③最後に小物（ヘルメットや帽子）だけ丁寧に、の順番。体験シーン（放水してる消防士、パトロールカーに乗ってる警察官など）は動きがあるので、ポーズは写真そのまま、背景は省略してロゴだけ入れるとまとまりました。 注意点として、SNSやブログに載せる場合は「公式キャラクターの完全なトレース」より、あくまで“思い出をイラスト化した二次創作風”にしておく方が安心です。最後に「KidZania Kuala Lumpurに行った記録」など、場所名をキャプションに添えると検索にも強くなります。
