Breakfast with a View - Tagaytay (Pet Friendly)

We had this chance to have breakfast in Tagaytay.. and since we have two cats, we purposely looked for a pet friendly place..

📍Address: The View Restaurant * Cafe

Tagaytay - Nasugbu Hwy, Laurel 4221 Batangas, Philippines

Ambiance is good, they really have a breathtaking view.. The name suits the place. it’s at the edge of the mountain and facing the Taal volcano.

It’s just quite scary to do the parking if the restaurant is full, coz you need to go down and it’s very steepy.. 🤭 it feels like you’re in roller coaster ride 🤭

Food was good, i suggest to order same what we did except for the spam coz you can do it at home 🤭 The Canton guisado is good for sharing if you’re not into heavy meals you can just order that then hot drinks.

Price :

* Corned beef and eggs ₱385 or SGD 8

* Pancakes & Bacon ₱320 or SGD 7

* Spam & Eggs ₱330 or SGD 7

* Canton Guisado ₱410 or SGD 9 (Good for sharing)

... Read moreVisiting Tagaytay for a breakfast outing with pets like cats can be a bit challenging due to the limited options for pet-friendly establishments, but The View Restaurant & Cafe perfectly fits the bill. From my own experience exploring similar spots, having the ability to bring your feline companions adds a layer of comfort and joy to the trip. The restaurant’s location on the edge of the mountain provides not just breathtaking views of Taal Volcano but also a refreshing breeze that complements the whole dining experience. One thing I appreciated that aligns with this review is the variety of dishes suitable for sharing, especially the Canton Guisado, which is flavorful without being too heavy. Their hot drinks, like the unique Ube Latte, add a local twist to the breakfast menu. Parking might feel like a mini adventure due to the steep descent, especially when the place is crowded, so arriving early to get a good spot can save some stress. Bringing cats along to outdoor cafes like this requires some preparation—bringing a sturdy carrier or leash and familiar treats to keep them calm enhances the experience. It’s a lovely way to enjoy nature together and adds to the casual, homey atmosphere The View offers. If you’re in Tagaytay and want a combination of scenic beauty, good food, and a welcoming environment for your pets, this spot is definitely worth the visit.

Tagaytay City, PH Café
If you’re heading to Tagaytay, Bag of Beans (Main Branch) is often the first recommendation you’ll hear. Unlike its sister branches (like Charito or Athena), the Main Branch doesn’t prioritize a view of Taal Volcano; instead, it leans heavily into a "secret garden" aesthetic that feels like

Pet-friendly brunch by the sea? Yes please. 🐶
Today’s feature for our pet-friendly series: Jypsy at Parkland Green – a coastal Japanese-fusion spot at East Coast Park with pet-friendly outdoor seating. The alfresco area is shaded and nicely windy, so it was comfortable for both us and the pup. Food: 8.5/10 – flavourful and great for sharing
