春にシャングリ・ラ東京のアフタヌーンティーを訪れた経験から、特に印象的だったのは発酵食材の深い味わいと桜の優しい香りの絶妙なバランスです。酒粕レーズンバター最中や甘酒プリンは、発酵の旨みがしっかり感じられ、甘さ控えめで体にも優しい印象でした。個人的には、有機豆腐と西京味噌のブランマンジェのクリーミーさと味噌のまろやかさの組み合わせが新鮮で、まさに和の 発酵文化を感じられる逸品でした。 また、甘酒に桜パウダーを加えたドリンクから始まることで、春の訪れを五感で楽しめるのも魅力的です。スコーンには柚子ジャムや桜あん、クロテッドクリームを添えて味わうことで、和洋のハーモニーを楽しめます。紅茶はダージリンをベースにバラやカモミールをブレンドした“春夢”が芳醇で、数種類から選べるので好みに合わせて楽しめました。 発酵食材は日本の伝統的な調味料として知られていますが、こうしたモダンなアフタヌーンティースタイルに採り入れられることで、健康と美食の両立を実感できます。春の季節限定ということもあり、訪れるたびに旬の素材と香りを存分に味わえるため、東京でのカフェタイムや女子会にもぴったりです。食後の満足感はもちろん、体に優しいメニューが多いのが非常に嬉しいポイントでした。
