This is my third year designing bags

I graduated from university in 2023, and at that time, I felt really lost. I had no idea what kind of job truly suited me. Then one day, I came across videos of people sewing handmade pieces on social media, and that’s when I fell in love with sewing.

Later, I bought my own sewing machine and started learning, designing, and creating in my free time after work. Every piece I make is filled with patience and passion, and I truly hope you’ll like my work.

... Read moreStarting to design and sew bags can feel overwhelming at first, especially when you’re balancing it with a full-time job or other commitments. I remember when I first bought my sewing machine, I was unsure if I could truly make something beautiful or useful. But with patience and consistent practice over three years, I’ve grown not just technically but also creatively. One of the most rewarding aspects of handmade bag making is the ability to customize each piece exactly how you want it. From choosing fabrics to deciding on sizes and adding personal touches like unique stitching or pockets, every decision shapes the final product. This level of control means that each bag I design reflects a piece of my personality and style. Another insight I’ve gained is the value of learning from others. Watching social media videos and connecting with the #bagmaking community has been invaluable. It’s inspiring to see different techniques, materials, and creative approaches, which has helped me refine my skills and find my unique voice as a bag maker. If you’re thinking about starting your own sewing journey, I recommend starting with simple designs and gradually experimenting with more complex patterns. Don’t be afraid of mistakes—they are part of learning. Also, investing time in learning about different materials and sewing tools can make a big difference in your experience and results. Overall, designing bags has become not only a creative outlet but also a meaningful way to save and upcycle materials, reducing waste. It’s fulfilling to see a piece come to life from just fabric and thread into a functional, stylish item that can be cherished or gifted. For anyone passionate about crafts, this journey can be deeply rewarding. The combination of creativity, hands-on work, and sharing within a supportive community creates a unique and enriching experience.
