Outlookで絵文字を入れたいのに「スマホみたいに絵文字パネルが出ない…」って困ったことがありました。そんな時に便利だったのが、Unicodeを“暗号”みたいに入力して変換する方法です。WordとOutlookなら、本文にコードを打って変換できるので、メール作成がちょっと楽しくなります。 ■ Outlook/Wordで「コマンド絵文字（隠し絵文字）」を出す基本 1) Outlook（またはWord）の本文に、半角でUnicodeを入力 2) その文字列を選択 3) Alt + X で絵文字に変換 例：1F438 → 🐸 「暗号を入れると」絵文字に変わる感覚で覚えるとラクでした。 ■ 変換できないときのチェック（Outlook 文字コード） ・入力が全角になっていないか（1F438が全角だと失敗しがち） ・選択範囲がズレていないか（コードだけを選択してからAlt+X） ・メール形式がテキストのみになっていないか（可能ならHTML/リッチテキストで） ・環境によってはフォントの都合で表示が四角（□）になることもあります。その場合、受信側の環境依存の可能性もあるので、仕事メールでは多用しないようにしています。 ■ 「メール 絵文字 コピペ」で入れる方法（確実） Alt+Xがうまくいかない時は、絵文字をコピペが一番確実でした。 ・Windowsの「Win + .（ピリオド）」で絵文字パネルを出して貼る ・Web上の絵文字一覧からコピーして貼る ■ Outlookの「リアクション絵文字」について 本文に入れる絵文字と、Outlookのリアクション（いいね等）は別物です。リアクションを増やしたりカスタマイズしたい時は、まずOutlookのバージョン（新しいOutlook/クラシック）や組織の設定で制限がないかを確認するのが近道でした。 ■ ユニコード空白って何？（つまずきポイント） 検索で「ユニコード 空白」が出てきますが、これは見えないスペース文字のこと。整形や位置合わせに使われる一方で、メールでは意図せずズレやすいので、まずは通常の半角スペースで十分だと思います。 私はまず、よく使う動物絵文字だけでもUnicodeをメモしておくと、Outlookでもサッと入力できて便利でした。
