... Read moreHey wellness fam! So many of you asked for more details on my night routine, especially some of the lesser-known steps. I'm excited to dive deeper into why these practices are game-changers for me as a busy mom! Let's talk about Yoni Steaming. When I first started, I was curious but a little skeptical. Now? It's a non-negotiable! For me, it's about connecting with my body, promoting relaxation, and supporting overall feminine wellness. I usually prepare my herbs – think calming lavender, rose, and calendula – and get my steam seat ready. It's truly a holistic moment that helps me unwind from the day's stresses. Remember to always consult with a healthcare professional before trying new wellness practices, especially if you have any health concerns! Then there’s the Glycolic Acid on Scalp. Yes, you read that right! This has been amazing for my scalp health, especially since I'm always trying new hair products. Just like glycolic acid exfoliates your face, it does wonders for your scalp, helping to remove product buildup, dead skin cells, and promoting a healthier environment for hair growth. I apply it before my double cleanse, letting it sit for a few minutes. If you struggle with an oily scalp or flakes, this might be a secret weapon for you too! Just start slow and patch test. My PM Skincare is quite layered, but one weekly step I absolutely adore is the Biodance Rejuvenating Caviar PDRN Real Deep Mask. PDRN, or polydeoxyribonucleotide, is a powerful ingredient derived from salmon DNA that's fantastic for skin repair and regeneration. After a long week, this mask feels like a mini facial at home. It leaves my skin feeling incredibly hydrated, plump, and revitalized. It's definitely an investment, but for me, the glow it gives is totally worth it! Coupled with my double cleanse and lash serum, my skin feels prepped for anything. And let's not forget the internal wellness! My Nightly Magnesium Drink & Supplements are key for deep sleep and muscle relaxation. As a mom, sleep can be elusive, so I prioritize anything that helps. Magnesium is a natural muscle relaxant and helps calm the nervous system. I also take a few other targeted supplements that support my overall well-being, especially for energy and hormonal balance. It’s all about supporting my body from the inside out to keep up with my busy life. Finally, for winding down, I often do Legs on the Wall (Viparita Karani) and spend a few minutes on my Vibration Plate. Legs on the Wall is fantastic for lymphatic drainage, reducing swelling, and just giving my legs a much-needed rest after being on my feet all day. The vibration plate helps with circulation and overall relaxation – it's a gentle way to shake off any remaining tension before bed. These little rituals truly make a difference in how I feel when I wake up. Hope these insights help you craft your own ultimate night routine! What are your favorite unconventional wellness tips?
