a tour of my desk space in a new cozier apartment

i moved to a new apartment recently, so i wanted to share my desk space. the arrangement hasn't changed, but i'm hoping that i'll be changing things here and there as i get settled in.

i removed the shelf that everyone usually sees for my desk space to feel much more open and less cluttered. currently planning on adding more cozy lighting and wall shelves.

After sharing my initial desk tour, I wanted to dive a bit deeper into how I created that warm, cozy, and aesthetic vibe, especially since many of you asked about achieving a similar look. It's not just about having a desk, but truly crafting a space that inspires and keeps you productive. One of the biggest game-changers for a cozy desk setup is undoubtedly the lighting. I'm a huge fan of warm light desk setups, as they create such an inviting atmosphere compared to harsh overhead lighting. My current setup features a stylish lamp that casts a soft, warm glow, making everything feel instantly more comfortable. Beyond the main lamp, I'm already planning to add more subtle ambient lighting – maybe some LED strips behind the monitor or a small accent lamp on a future wall shelf. Experimenting with different light sources at varying heights can totally transform your space from functional to truly aesthetic. For the overall aesthetic cozy desk setup, I focused on a minimalist approach with warm tones. The wooden desk itself brings so much natural warmth. I made sure to incorporate elements like a small plant, which adds a touch of life and greenery without cluttering the space. Decluttering was actually my first step, as mentioned in my initial post. Removing a bulky shelf opened up the area significantly, creating a much airier feel. This allowed me to showcase my chosen accessories, like my custom keycaps on the mechanical keyboard and the sleek wireless mouse. When it comes to the 'warm PC setup' aspect, I believe your tech can blend seamlessly into a cozy environment. My large curved monitor, for instance, isn't just for productivity; it's also a canvas for beautiful cloud wallpapers that enhance the calm atmosphere. Pairing it with a comfortable mechanical keyboard and high-quality wireless headphones makes my work sessions much more enjoyable. I also keep my phone on a charging stand nearby, keeping it accessible but tidy. Organized desk accessories are key – I use a small storage box and a key organizer to keep essentials neatly tucked away, preventing visual noise. Even my coiled keyboard cable is a subtle design choice! For those creating a 'modern office in living room' like I am, blending your workspace with your living area is crucial. Choosing furniture that complements your existing decor helps a lot. My desk, with its clean lines and warm wood, doesn't scream 'office' but rather feels like an extension of my apartment's overall aesthetic. Thinking about multi-functional items, like a decorative side table that can hold work essentials, or using wall shelves for both storage and display, can really help integrate your desk seamlessly. Ultimately, my goal for this 'cozy desk tour' was to show that you don’t need a massive dedicated office to have an inspiring and comfortable workspace. With thoughtful lighting, smart organization, and a focus on warm, inviting aesthetics, anyone can create their dream desk setup, even in a smaller apartment. I’m excited to continue evolving this space and adding those wall shelves to bring in more personality and functionality. What are your favorite tips for a cozy workspace?

Where side you get your desk from? And what width is it? I have 2 monitors & 1 laptop and this is so adorable
