my tattoos
ever since i got my first tattoo i haven’t been able to stop! i absolutely love getting tattooed!! if you don’t have one i 100% recommend getting one! but here are my tattoos and why i chose them!
1: “you are my sunshine” - my grandma would sing this to my every night as a baby, and some nights she still texts me or sings me the song!
2: that is a symbol for SA survivors. this holds a permanent space in my heart.
3&4: i got the sun and the moon, one on each shoulder. to me this represents emotions. the sun, a symbol of joy and happiness, good things are coming. the moon, calmness. just a reminder that we all need to sit and breathe for a second.
5: i got a matching dinosaur with my dad! it doesn’t really mean anything. i got to pick it out and i like dinosaurs!!
6: “XI IVII MMIV” - 11/17/2004, my birthday. i really just wanted a tattoo and didn’t know what to get. k still think it’s really cute!
7: i got this flower on my arm. my grandma actually drew the flower. and she’s always been a big person in my life, she means a lot to me.
8: “divine feminine” - to me, this means elegancy. women are so finely made. everything about a woman is beautiful. we are each made differently, we all have our own quirks. we create life. our bodies do so so much. i think of this as divine.
9: the scorpion was very random. woke up one day and i wanted a tattoo so i got that. i absolutely love it tho!
10: “Odie” - I got my dogs ears outlined with his name under it. he just recently passed a few days ago and he was my best friend. that dog meant everything to me. so i wanted to honor him in any way that i could.
11: “cont;nue” - the “i” being a semicolon is saying to not end things, continue. keep going. keep fighting. my mental health has always been a struggle for me. so this tattoo holds a lot of meaning.
