5 Things God wants us to let go of today 🤍 (Swipe)
In our journey of faith, God invites us to relinquish negative emotions and burdens that hinder our spiritual growth. The first thing to let go of is the fear of the future, as stated in Matthew 6:34 NLT: "So don't worry about tomorrow..." God reassures us to focus on the present. Secondly, doubt in God's plans is common, yet Jeremiah 29:11 NLT reminds us that He has plans for good, granting us hope and a future. Another area of struggle is the comparison with others; 2 Corinthians 10:12 ESV states that comparing ourselves to others leads to misunderstanding. To cultivate healthy self-esteem, embrace your unique path. The need for human approval can also be burdensome. Galatians 1:10 NLT expresses that our goal is to please God, not people. Lastly, shame from past mistakes should not define us. 2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT reminds us that in Christ, we are made new. By releasing these five burdens, we can foster a more profound connection with God and experience the peace and joy He intends for us.
