AI helped me setup 10G Internet

However, settings can reset upon adoption, and careful sequencing is required to maintain network configuration without causing conflicts. Throughout this upgrade, I realized the value and limits of AI assistance: while it provided step-by-step guidance that saved me from hiring costly professionals, it occasionally missed unique nuances of my provider’s setup, which I had to learn through hands-on troubleshooting. This experience empowered me to build my own network knowledge, enabling future upgrades or fixes with confidence. If you're considering a similar upgrade, remember to always back up your current router’s settings before swapping hardware. Be patient in the VLAN configuration stage—sometimes less manual intervention is better depending on your ISP’s equipment. And use the Omada Controller’s device management features to carefully ‘adopt’ your new router to avoid overwriting important settings. In summary, AI can be a great assistant for technology upgrades, especially for non-network experts like myself, but supplementing AI guidance with personal discovery and a bit of trial and error is crucial for a smooth 10G internet transition.
