Don't stress about fans leh...
When I first started building PCs, I was really worried about the fan setup—intake, exhaust, top or rear? I spent hours trying to get the perfect airflow, convinced that any mistake would cause my expensive components to overheat. But through experience and research, I realized modern computers are much smarter than we give them credit for. Components like CPUs and GPUs have built-in thermal management systems that throttle performance before overheating occurs, protecting themselves from damage. This means that while good airflow is important, getting fan orientation exactly right isn’t the end of the world. A simple and effective airflow pattern is to have intake fans at the bottom/front and exhaust fans at the rear/top of your case. This setup encourages natural airflow and helps keep temperatures in check without requiring complex fan arrangements. Also, negative pressure from incorrect fan placement rarely leads to component damage as long as your PC has adequate ventilation. One key takeaway from my builds and discussions with other enthusiasts is: don’t delay completing your PC build just to research every minor detail about fan orientation. It's better to start with a reasonable fan setup, monitor your temperatures, and make adjustments if necessary after your system is running. By focusing on quality components and ensuring your case isn't obstructed, you can avoid overheating issues without stressing over fan placement. This approach not only saves time but reduces anxiety around building your dream PC. Remember, build first, then optimize. Your PC won’t be 'GG' (game over) just because of a slight fan orientation tweak!
