My Credit Card Strategy 2025 (Miles Chaser)

If you’re new to the miles game, welcome to the club 😂

I only started last year November and trust me when I said I really read a heck lots of reviews from MileLion, Sethisfy, Lobang Sis and etc deciding which cards to use. But hey, anything for the free business class ✈️ 💰

It may be tiring having to track the spending cap for each card, remembering which card for which purpose, spending blocks so on and so forth, but trust me once you are familiarised with your cards everything will be easier! ✨👍🏼🥳

I used to be a believer in non-expiry cards such as generalised spending cards that usually only give 1.2mpd - 1.3mpd but i really regretted not starting from specialised cards that can give up to 4mpd cus with the amount i spent these years i would have accumulated enough points to fly business class to europe 😭😭 ❌ SO PLEASE DONT BE LIKE ME!!! ❌

I am still learning on the go as well, but joining all the telegram group chats has really helped me gain alot of knowledge about financial stuffs! So you can consider doing it too ☺️

Do let me know if you have any questions, and I’ll try my best to answer them! ❤️

... Read moreDiving deeper into how I optimize my credit cards, the DBS Altitude Visa Signature stands out for its steady 1.3 miles per dollar on all spend with no caps, plus 2 complimentary lounge visits, which I use once my high-earning capped cards are maxed out. The UOB Preferred Platinum Visa is key to my contactless payment spend, offering up to 4 miles per dollar capped at $1110 monthly, making it perfect for everyday purchases where PayWave is accepted. Pooling UNI$ points with other UOB cards helps me maximize rewards effectively. For dining and entertainment, UOB Lady’s World Card shines with 4mpd on chosen categories — I picked dining. Combined with my UOB One Savings account, it boosts my miles earnings. I also combine Citi Rewards and Citi Lazada cards smartly to match online versus offline spending, since Citi’s Lazada card offers great perks for Lazada transactions but is capped per transaction. A crucial tip I learned: always sign up for credit cards using referral or promo codes to grab welcome miles bonuses—missing out can cost thousands of miles! Joining Telegram groups like Sethisfy and Lobang Sis has been a game changer. These communities provide up-to-date promos, strategy discussions, and support to navigate complex rewards structures. Lastly, tracking spending caps is tiring but vital. I use simple trackers and calendar reminders to avoid overspending on capped categories and ensure every dollar counts towards miles. This balance between careful monitoring and strategic card use is my key to flying business class without breaking the bank!
