Simple DIY Lip Gloss with Household Ingredients💄💋🩷
Ingredients:
Vaseline: As the base for your lip gloss!
Honey: Adds a bit of sweetness and shine.
Old lipstick or eyeshadow: For color, you can scrape off a small amount of a lipstick you no longer use or crush an old eyeshadow.
Vanilla extract: For a nice scent and flavor
Instructions:
Prepare the base and scoop about 1-2 tablespoons of vaseline into a microwave-safe bowl.
Melt the vaseline and microwave the vaseline for about 10-15 seconds until it becomes soft and slightly melted. Be careful not to overheat it!
Add honey and color,and Mix in a small amount of honey (about half a teaspoon) for extra shine.
If you’re adding color, shave off a small piece of an old lipstick or add a bit of crushed eyeshadow to the mixture. Stir well until the color is evenly distributed.
Add vanilla extract for a bit of flavor. You can add a drop or two of vanilla extract and mix it in.
Pour into a container. Once everything is well mixed, pour or spoon the mixture into a small, clean container. You can use an old lip balm pot, a tiny jar, or any small container you have at home.
Cool, and use the lip gloss, and solidify at room temperature or in the fridge. Once it’s set, your DIY lip gloss is ready to use!
