YOUR DAILY AFFIRMATION 01/07/24
I’m not gonna lie, today was hard. As an actor, i am constantly faced with raging imposter syndrome. Am I good enough? Do I have what it takes to be working in New York City right now? Should I move back to my hometown? These are all questions that circle my brain at least once a week if not every day.
But today, I did some thing that I haven’t done in a while. DANCE. I forgot how much dancing brings me joy. in college I would use it as a stress reliever, and I really took for granted the use of a free dance studio. But ever since moving to New York I’ve kind of lost the motivation to get up and move my body like that. Until today!
Today I have reunited with that passion and love for my craft. not that it wasn’t there before, but this time it was there without any doubt. I was meant for this!
So yes, my friends the perfect moment is this one. Read that book. Learn how to play that guitar. Try that recipe. You’ve been dying to try for months. And I hope you can find that same Joy that I found today!
