Chocolate Dipped M&M Cookies 🍫

Bake Temperature: 350 F

Time: 12-13 minutes

Yields: 16 cookies

Ingredients:

* ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature

* ½ cup brown sugar

* ½ cup white granulated sugar

* 1 large egg + 1 large egg yolk

* 2 tsp vanilla extract

* 1 ½ cup all purpose flour

* 1 tsp baking powder

* ½ tsp baking soda

* ¼ tsp salt

* Mini m&m’s, ½ cup

* 1 ¼ cup chocolate chips, melted for dipped bottoms

Instructions: 

1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.

2. In a bowl, add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Whisk together and set aside.

3. Add softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar to a bowl. Cream with a whisk for 2-3 minutes.

4. Add your 1 egg and 1 egg yolk. Add vanilla extract and whisk in until combined.

5. Pour dry ingredients into wet ingredients and combine until everything is fully incorporated.

6. Pour M&M’s into cookie dough. Fold into cookie dough.

7. Scoop cookie dough balls. Cover and let cool for 30 minutes in the fridge.

8. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

9. Before baking add extra M&M’s on top.

10. Bake at 350 F for 12-13 minutes.

11. Take it out of the oven and let it cool completely.

12. Pour chocolate chips in a microwave safe dish. Melt for 30 seconds to 1 minute. If not melted the first time, melt in 15 second intervals until smooth.

13. Once cookies are cooled, dip bottoms in chocolate. Place each cookie upside down on a cooling rack or pan. Place into the fridge for 30 minutes to let chocolate harden.

14. After cookies are done cooling, dive right in and enjoy!
