BV issues?? Let’s chat

I’ve suffered from BV for about 2 years on and off (mostly on I’m afraid to admit). I couldn’t shake it for NOTHING!! Every time I took anything my gynecologist prescribed vaginally, I had a MEAN yeast infection…. While still having BV!! Well after paying for over $500 in visits and no results, I was fed up. Down the research hole I went. Here’s what I came up with (please keep in mind I have chronic BV and no vagina is the same 🫶🏿):

I started taking the pre/probiotics about 2 weeks before I attempted anything else to build up some good bacteria. Also took it throughout this ordeal (and currently still take it)

Boric acid suppositories: a total of 15 days. Towards the end, I started to spot (I have an IUD and no period for 2 years. I researched and they said it was normal. This was day 13 when it occurred.)

the vaginal suppository was for 3 days after the boric acid. To soothe and balance everything (boric acid is messy and gritty with watery discharge, also normal)

The oil or oregano is a natural antibacterial, and a nice touch. Please only take oil of oregano for 2 weeks at a time

feel free to ask questions. All products pictured is what I used personally. I also constantly was in contact with my gynecologist when taking these products

... Read moreBacterial vaginosis (BV) can be a frustrating condition affecting many women. It's crucial to understand the underlying causes, which often relate to an imbalance of bacteria in the vagina. While traditional treatments like antibiotics are common, they sometimes lead to recurrent infections or complications like yeast infections. Probiotics, particularly vaginal probiotics, can help restore the natural flora and strengthen the vaginal ecosystem. Many women find that incorporating prebiotics and probiotics into their routine aids in balancing their vaginal microbiome, which is beneficial not only for BV but overall vaginal health. Boric acid has emerged as a popular remedy, utilized for its antifungal properties, and is often recommended for those with chronic BV. Typically used in suppository form, users have reported positive results after a sustained application. Furthermore, exploring natural remedies, such as oil of oregano, is gaining popularity due to its antibacterial properties. Staying in close contact with healthcare providers throughout this journey is essential, allowing individuals to monitor changes and seek advice when trying new treatments. Each person’s experience with BV varies, highlighting the importance of personalized approaches and continuous learning about one’s body.

if you suffer from BV boric acid suppositories are a game changer! They balances the ph of your vagina. BV is a ph problem. If your ph is off that's when bad bacteria can thrive. I promise you won't be disappointed. I have been using them for years because my gynecologist recommended them. I haven't had any problems with BV since!
