WIP Alucard from Castlevania

Finishing the Castlevania series left me completely captivated, especially by Alucard. His complex character, elegant design, and powerful presence just screamed "draw me!" So, I immediately dove into creating this digital sketch. It's still a work in progress, but I wanted to share the journey and some thoughts on capturing such an iconic figure. When I started this Alucard drawing, my main goal was to convey his unique blend of melancholy and strength. I spent a lot of time on his intense expression, trying to get his eyes just right – they hold so much history and sorrow. The OCR mentioned his long hair and the sword visible at the hilt, which were definitely key elements I focused on. Alucard's long, flowing hair is almost a character in itself, adding to his aristocratic and ethereal look. Getting the flow and volume right in a black and white digital sketch was a fun challenge.
