Dominican Spaghetti

No tia , no abuela just me in this kitchen Dominican Spaghetti done my way.

Ingredients:

- 8 oz Dominican salami, diced

- ½ red bell pepper, chopped

- ½ white or yellow onion, chopped

- 1 packet Sazón (con culantro y achiote)

- 1 tsp dried oregano

- 1 tsp garlic powder

- 1 tsp Adobo (adjust to taste)

- 1½ tbsp tomato paste

- ½ cup canned crushed tomatoes

- ⅓ cup evaporated milk

- ½ cup pasta water (saved from boiling spaghetti)

- ½ box spaghetti (about 8 oz), cooked and drained

Directions:

1. Crisp the salami

In a dry pan over medium heat, cook the diced salami for 2–3 minutes until it starts browning and releasing oils.

2. Add chopped onions and red bell peppers. Cook until soft and fragrant, about 2–3 minutes.

3. Add in Sazón, oregano, garlic powder, and Adobo. Stir to coat everything in that flavor.

4. Stir in tomato paste and cook for 1 minute. Then add crushed tomatoes and mix until everything’s coated in sauce.

5. Pour in evaporated milk and pasta water. Stir well and let it simmer until it thickens slightly (about 3–5 minutes).

6. Add cooked spaghetti directly into the sauce. Toss to coat fully.

7. Let it simmer for another 2–3 minutes so the noodles soak up all the flavor. Serve and enjoy!
