Does their costume need to support their quirk, like a special suit for a fire-based ability, or is it more aesthetic? Consider practical elements – protection, mobility, and support gear. For SirPlume, I imagined a purple cape and a ruffled collar, hinting at both elegance and the practical needs of their bird-like abilities. 4. Personality and Goals (Becoming a 'Gen 10 Protagonist'): To make your OC feel like a protagonist, give them clear goals, flaws, and a unique perspective. Are they striving to surpass their parents, or forge their own path? Do they have a rival, a best friend, or a mentor? A protagonist isn't perfect; they learn and grow, confronting both external villains and internal struggles. This depth will make them resonate more with others. 5. Naming Your OC: A good name can tell a lot about a character. Does it relate to their quirk, their parents, or their aspirations? For Hikari Tokoyami, "Hikari" means light, a fascinating contrast to Fumikage's dark shadow, suggesting a unique blend of their potential parents' attributes.
