don't make this mistake on your jb day trip 😵

disclaimer: we have never went to JB by bus/train before (hence the amateur mistakes 😭😭) but posting this so others don't fumble like we did oops

1) we went to the wrong checkpoint

We set our grab location as "JB sentral" and ended up going to the bus checkpoint and not the train one and we had already passed customs so we had to forgo our train tickets and take the bus back (and tbh i still don't know wheres the train checkpoint)

lesson learnt - set the right location and only pass customs once you're sure its the correct place

2) autogate issues

I came into jb through manual customs and went out through the autogate and it took a lot of effort to get the officer to help stamp my passport out

lesson learnt - come in through manual must go out by manual and don't anyhow use autogate, i think the autogate instructions are available online

Hello, I think now don’t need register for autogate already! Used to be Monday-Thursdays can register but I went last weekend and saw the sign that registration is no longer required or smth! Also don’t need fill up the MDAC form already.

My biggest BTO renovation mistake......
I don’t usually post on Lemon8, but I wanted to share this for anyone doing BTO renovation. During my reno, I engaged a relative who is an electrician. I thought since it’s “own people”, should be safer and more reasonable. But the quote came up to $8.2k... and I honestly didn’t know if it wa

🇯🇵Tried&Tested: Tokyo Road Trip - Nikko (Day1)
Early September is usually a low peak season in the Japan tourist calendar - its the tail end of summer (so not too hot compared to July/Oct) but fall foliage hasn’t started (so things are not super pretty yet and people will wait a few more months for Nov). Coincidentally its the time Buns can act

Pumping Mistake I Didn’t See It Coming
After being discharged from the hospital, I went straight into pumping. For all my babies, I chose to exclusively pump because I personally don’t like the latching feeling. PP Day 2 I pumped for 15 minutes… but nothing came out. I thought, “Okay, maybe my milk hasn’t come in yet,” so I didn

🇨🇿 Don’t sleep on Prague in winter ❄️
They say Prague is a romantic destination. Some even call it the ‘city of love’ (which I thought belonged to Paris, but okay). Winter in Prague takes ‘romantic’ up a notch. It is cold. My first thought, upon arriving at the main station from Dresden, was: “damn, why is it so cold?”. I shi
