solo hiking in a foreign country at 19 🏞️

sooo i hiked for the first time and did it alone in seoraksan national park, sokcho

the trail was 3km x 2 for round trip and consisted of around 1km x 2 of climbing on rocks while the rest was walking and stairs

didnt have hiking gear and wore normal running shoes and ngl nearly twisted my ankle a few times on the rocky part yikes

was super tiring but the views were worth it hehe

the idea of solo hiking in a foreign country was quite scary to me esp since i've never hiked before, and i def had worries on the hike

overall this exp was a core memory but i would not want to hike solo again HAHAHA

for those considering doing this biseondae rock trail, i think it's quite manageable but wld recco to at least wear proper hiking shoes
