This book has been on TBR for a while now, I was so excited to read this I literally had my cousin and mom read it with me & surprisingly my mom finished the book first.
Honestly, I’m still processing everything. 🤦🏻♀️ This book really took us on an emotional rollercoaster! Raven came across as prideful, immature, and far too easily swayed because she wanted to grow up so fast. She desperately needed real guidance, yet the people around her constantly enabled her behavior, which only pushed everything toward destruction. Ethic was the only one being honest and grounded the entire time. I truly feel for him & after that ending, I don’t know how he’s going to recover. And Raven despite her annoying me with being so naive to everything, she really did deserve better !!
That said, my mom & I absolutely hated the ending!! Raven deserved a better ending. At this point I don’t even want to read Ethic 1-6 because of how this ended. 5⭐️ read & I would recommend reading just be prepared to go through the emotions !
