Salary Transparency 🫶

Like I've noted before, I've been at my part-time job for a long time now. They pay has been stagnant, and it's honestly they pay I receive there is being used for play money and extra savings.

Overall, the pay I posted is the highest that it gets. (Until Christmas 🎄 time) because I hit the holy grail and got to set my schedule exactly the way I want. That way, I am not over working myself into a burnout, and also, the job is NOT cutting into my off days from my primary job whatsoever.

Now, is this a lot of money? Absolutely not, but is this enough to fill up my tank and get food, yes. ✨️

Having open discussions about pay helps bridge the gap in compensation between various roles, ensuring everyone receives fair treatment regardless of gender or ethnicity. At my part-time job, my take-home pay of $104.65 allows me to cover essential expenses, like gas and food, while also enabling some savings. This illustrates how understanding salary and managing one’s budget can lead to financial freedom over time. For many, part-time jobs provide crucial support in balancing work-life responsibilities and financial needs. Many organizations are now starting to embrace salary transparency, helping potential recruits understand what to expect and whether the pay aligns with their expectations. This approach contributes to workplace equality, encouraging discussions that can improve job satisfaction and trust among employees. Moreover, it enables people to negotiate better terms and conditions based on clear data regarding salary expectations. By sharing personal experiences related to salary transparency, individuals can better learn how to navigate their careers. Creating a community that discusses salary openly not only aids in individual journeys but also contributes to communal knowledge that fosters a more equitable job landscape.
