They laughed when they heard the warning, they mocked the man who preached JESUS, they treated truth like a joke, but the moment GOD fulfilled what was spoken, laughter died and terror took its place, because warnings were never meant to entertain you, they were meant to prepare you before it is too late.
“Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,”
2 Peter 3:3 kjv.
You did not reject because you lacked evidence, you rejected because you loved your sin more than the truth that was warning you.
“For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.”
1 Thessalonians 5:2 kjv.
It will not announce itself twice, it will not wait for your convenience, it will come suddenly while you are still unprepared.
“And the kings of the earth, and the great men… hid themselves… and said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us…”
Revelation 6:15-16 kjv.
The same mouth that laughed will beg for escape, but there will be no place to run when reality replaces your denial.
“He that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.” Proverbs 29:1 kjv.
Every ignored warning is a step closer to a moment where nothing can be fixed anymore.
“In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye… we shall be changed.”
1 Corinthians 15:52 kjv.
It happens faster than your next breath, no second chance, no time to prepare after it begins.
And while some are taken, others are left behind in fear, in chaos, in regret, realizing too late that the warning they mocked was actually mercy they wasted.
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.
Acts 16:31 kjv.
Jesus Christ died for your sins, He shed His perfect holy blood, He was buried, and He rose again the third day.
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 kjv.
Salvation is not something you earn, it is already finished, already paid, already enough through Him alone.
When the warning becomes reality, repentance will no longer be preparation, it will only be regret.
