SD Gundam: Romance of the Three Kingdom

Hey fellow Gunpla enthusiasts! I'm so excited to share my latest completed build: the SD Gundam Zhang He Altron from the Sangoku Soketsuden series, in its stunning electroplate version. This kit has been a blast to put together, and the final result is truly eye-catching! For those unfamiliar, the SD Gundam Sangoku Soketsuden line reimagines famous characters from the Chinese historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms as awesome Gundam mechs. Each character's signature traits and weapons are cleverly integrated into their Gundam design, creating a unique blend of history and sci-fi. Zhang He Altron Gundam, for instance, perfectly captures the elegance and power of the historical Zhang He, a prominent general under Cao Cao, with its distinctive wing binders and spear-like weapon. What makes this particular kit even more special is the electroplate finish. Unlike standard plastic models, the electroplate parts come with a factory-applied metallic sheen that gives them a premium, almost die-cast look.
