“Todo lo puedo en frito que me fortalece”
Life can throw some really tough curveballs, right? There have been so many times I've felt overwhelmed, weak, and genuinely unsure if I could keep going. Maybe you’ve felt it too – that moment when you just want to give up. For me, finding solace in the powerful truth of 'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me' has been an absolute game-changer. It's not just a nice quote; it's a living promise that has reshaped my perspective and given me an unshakeable foundation, reminding me that indeed, I can do all things through God. This isn't about pretending I'm superhuman or that I have all the answers. Far from it! It’s about understanding that my strength doesn't come from my own limited abilities, but from an infinite, divine source. When I face something daunting, instead of focusing on my inadequacy, I turn to this verse. It reminds me that even when I feel like I'm about to be 'derribados' (overthrown), like the Psalmist says, God's power can lift me, ensuring I won't be utterly cast down. I used to get so caught up in comparing myself to others, or fretting over injustices I saw around me. It was exhausting! I’d 'impaciente' (fret) and feel 'envidia de los que hacen malignos' (envy of evildoers), just as Psalm 37 warns against. But then I learned to truly lean into 'Confianza en Jehová' (Trust in the Lord). This meant letting go of the need to control everything and instead choosing to 'espera en el' (wait for Him). It’s amazing how much peace comes when you realize that God has a plan, and if you 'prospera en su camino' (prosper in His way) by following His lead, things will work out, even if not on your timeline. Applying this daily looks different for everyone, but for me, it always starts with prayer and meditation. When anger or frustration starts to bubble up, I try to remember to 'Deja la ira, y desecha el enojo' (Cease from anger and forsake wrath). I remind myself that getting agitated won't solve anything, and it certainly won't strengthen me. Instead, I focus on cultivating a spirit of patience and trust, knowing that God is working behind the scenes. This practice helps me to stay calm and grounded, even in chaotic situations. Embracing 'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me' isn't a one-time decision; it's a daily commitment. It’s about constantly reminding myself that I'm not alone in my struggles and that I have access to an incredible wellspring of power. This belief helps me face challenges with courage, knowing that with God, there's always a way through. If you're looking for that extra push, that deep-seated strength to navigate life's ups and downs, I genuinely encourage you to explore the power of this verse for yourself.
