WIEIAD | 78 lb down
As someone on a weight loss journey, understanding 'What I Eat In A Day' (WIEIAD) posts became a huge source of inspiration and practical advice for me. When I started out, losing 78 lbs felt like a monumental task, but breaking it down day by day and seeing how others managed their nutrition made it feel so much more achievable. That's why I love sharing my own WIEIAD; it's a peek into my real-life food choices and how I fit them into my calorie goals. For me, consistency has been key, but so has flexibility. You might see a balanced lunch with pasta, chicken, and fresh blueberries, which gives me energy and essential nutrients. But then, for dinner, I might enjoy a delicious cheeseburger with a side of potato wedges – yes, even while losing weight! It’s all about fitting it into your daily calorie budget. I find that tracking my calories helps me stay accountable and ensures I don't unknowingly overeat. There are so many apps available that make this super easy. Snacks are also a big part of my day to keep hunger at bay and ensure I’m getting enough fuel. Simple, satisfying options like green grapes or a cheese stick are perfect. And let’s be honest, sometimes you just need a treat! Including something like a small portion of brownies or even a cherry cola now and then helps prevent feelings of deprivation, which can often lead to overeating later. It’s about mindful indulgence, not total restriction. When planning your own WIEIAD, think about what makes you feel satisfied and energized. Don't be afraid to experiment with different foods and portion sizes. Focus on whole foods most of the time, but know that no food is inherently 'bad' when consumed in moderation. Hydration is another huge component; I always make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day. Remember, everyone's journey is unique, and what works for one person might need slight adjustments for another. The goal is sustainable habits that lead to long-term success, not just quick fixes. I hope my day of eating gives you some fresh ideas and motivation for your own path!
