how i knew i had gluten sensitivity at 26 y.o

It took me 26 years to cut out gluten from my diet, even for a week…but a week turned into almost a year now and I have never felt or looked better in my own skin!!

I want to preface that it’s not just gluten that made these transformations - I have been healing my gut & other illnesses as well - but cutting out gluten has helped my body heal.

I knew I had a gluten intolerance just by the internal changes i felt. The physical results i was seeing, was a big bonus!!

I didn’t know it before, but every time I would eat bread (even though it was for every meal) I would feel so sluggish, heavy, bad…and since cutting it out - every meal i eat makes me feel GOOD, satiated, lightweight.

It took me 26 years to cut out bread, but it helped me figure out that I don’t need to NOR want to eat it.

Side note: if you are into health, i suggest you research the way wheat is also grown and processed in the U.S. (we shouldn’t be eating it anyways🫢).

I have never felt lighter & better in my life!!

... Read moreGluten sensitivity affects many people, yet many remain unaware until they experience significant health issues. Symptoms can include bloating, fatigue, and digestive problems—often mistaken for other conditions. It's essential to identify gluten intolerance as it can lead to gut inflammation and other chronic issues if left unaddressed. To identify gluten sensitivity, one likely undergoes various tests, often including an elimination diet where gluten is removed for several weeks before reintroduction. Individuals often find relief within days of eliminating gluten, as I did. In addition to removing gluten, many find that adopting a diet rich in whole foods—fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and healthy fats—supports overall health. For those suspecting gluten issues, consider consulting with a healthcare provider for proper testing. Exploring gluten-free alternatives can also help ease the transition. Furthermore, understanding how gluten impacts your body can empower you in making food choices that enhance your wellness. Researching how wheat is processed can lead to even deeper insights into your diet. Living gluten-free has allowed many, including myself, to experience a newfound vitality that can inspire more significant changes in dietary habits and lifestyle choices. Embracing a gluten-free lifestyle not only alleviates symptoms but also encourages a more mindful approach to eating, fostering a deeper relationship with food and health.

I know I 100% have a gluten sensitivity and dairy sensitivity, I just don't know what to eat and I heard it's expensive to cut out gluten and dairy which sucks. But I have bad IBS and bloating issues, my gut health is horrible.

I think you look great in the before & after, but what matters most is how you feel ☺️
