I'm sad ,mad, wanting to cry but none not none of that will bring my cousin back

So today I will celebrate his life the way it should be

From my own experience with loss, I’ve learned that it’s okay not to be okay in the days following such news. Grieving is a deeply personal process that doesn’t follow a linear path — it ebbs and flows, sometimes unexpectedly. One aspect of coping that has helped me is choosing to celebrate the life of the person I lost rather than solely focusing on the pain of their absence. This celebration can take many forms, such as sharing stories, looking through old photos, or spending time with family reminiscing. These moments create a sense of connection that persists even after they’re gone. I’ve also found that expressing my feelings openly, whether through writing a diary, talking with close friends, or even through creative outlets like art and music, provides an essential release. It helps ease the burden of bottled-up emotions and reminds me that healing takes time. Finally, I’ve come to understand the importance of hope and belief in eventual reunion, as reflected in the comforting thought of “until we meet again.” This mindset can bring peace to those left behind, acknowledging that while the present moment is painful, love and memory endure beyond physical separation. If you’re experiencing a similar loss, know that you’re not alone. Taking the time to grieve, celebrate, and hold onto hope can gradually guide you toward acceptance and peace.
