Monday Blues
It’s Monday Blues !
Mondays often carry a reputation for being tough, and many people feel the so-called Monday Blues—the reluctance to leave the weekend behind and jump back into weekday responsibilities. However, I've learned that shifting the mindset around Monday can make a big difference. One helpful approach is to treat Monday as a fresh opportunity to set new goals and tackle projects with renewed enthusiasm. I keep a small motivational reminder on my desk that simply says, “Let’s DO THIS,” which serves as a daily prompt to overcome hesitation. It’s amazing how a small phrase can boost morale and energy. Another tip is to plan something enjoyable after work on Mondays to give yourself a reward to look forward to, making the day feel less like a chore. Incorporating small routines such as a morning walk or a healthy breakfast also helps me start the day energized. Additionally, staying organized by making a to-do list on Sunday evening can reduce Monday morning anxiety. With the right mindset and strategies, Monday blues don’t have to dominate your start to the week—they can be transformed into motivation for a productive and positive week ahead.
