More challenge for the glutes๐๐ช๐ผ
Iโm sure youโve heard of a B-Stance RDL! Allow me to introduce you to her mean older sister!
The B-Stance RDL with a rotation!
The difference is small, however the pay off is huge! Think about the exact same form as a standard B-Stance RDL. However, as you send your hips back, think about trying to put your weight on your big toe. This causes a more of a stretch in the glutes and makes your glutes (specifically your glute med) go from their fully lengthened position to their fully contracted position!
Be mindful that this rotation is from the hip, NOT the waist. Make sure you keep your as tight as you can!

Hey everyone! I know so many of us are on a journey for that amazing glute transformation, and trust me, I've been there, scrolling through countless tips and tricks. While I absolutely swear by incorporating challenging moves like the B-Stance RDL with rotation into my routine โ it's truly a game-changer for hitting those glute med fibers as I mentioned in my main post โ I've learned that a true glute transformation goes beyond just one exercise. It's about a holistic approach, and I want to share what's really worked for me. First off, consistency is QUEEN. You canโt expect magic overnight. I used to get so frustrated when I didn't see results immediately, but stick with it! Showing up for your workouts, even when you don't feel like it, makes all the difference. Speaking of workouts, don't just stick to the same few movements. While I love my STANDARD B-STANCE RDL and its advanced rotational sister, varying your exercises ensures you're hitting all parts of your glutes โ the gluteus maximus, medius, and minimus. Think about adding heavy squats, hip thrusts, cable kickbacks, and abduction machine work. The key is to challenge your muscles in different ways. And let's talk about progressive overload โ this is HUGE for muscle growth. Your muscles need to be constantly challenged to grow. This means gradually increasing the weight, reps, or sets over time. If you're doing the same weight for months, your body won't have a reason to adapt and grow. Tracking my progress in a journal really helped me stay on top of this. Don't be afraid to lift heavy โ that's often where the real gains are made! Beyond the gym, nutrition plays a massive role. You simply cannot build a bigger, stronger glute without enough fuel. I make sure I'm eating enough protein (think lean meats, eggs, protein shakes) to support muscle repair and growth, and generally eating in a slight caloric surplus on my training days. Hydration is also super important! A common mistake I see is people under-eating when they're trying to grow muscle โ nourish your body! Finally, donโt forget that crucial mind-muscle connection. When you're performing exercises like the B-Stance RDL with rotation, really focus on squeezing your glutes at the top and feeling that deep stretch at the bottom. Instead of just going through the motions, actively think about engaging those muscles. This is where the magic happens and you truly feel the stretch and contraction, ensuring every rep counts. And recovery? Don't skimp on sleep! Your muscles grow when you're resting, not when you're working out. Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep, and consider active recovery like stretching or foam rolling to help with muscle soreness. Itโs a journey, not a sprint, and there will be good days and bad days. But by combining challenging exercises like the rotational RDL with these fundamental principles, you'll be well on your way to achieving your glute transformation goals. Keep pushing, stay consistent, and celebrate every little victory along the way!
