STOP USING THESE SKIN CARE PRODUCTS

From an esthetician student learning about all skin types. Please stop using pore strips😭. They do not deep clean your pores all they do is widen them, and you do not need than unnecessary force to removes those black heads. I have black heads too and exfoliating is the way to go! I’ve used Good clean good beauty. And it works well. Stop damaging your beautiful skin 🫶🏼

... Read moreAs an esthetician student, I’ve come to learn the importance of choosing the right skincare products. Many individuals rely on pore strips, such as Biore's popular offerings, believing they effectively remove blackheads and impurities. However, these strips often do more harm than good by only pulling on the surface, which can lead to wider pores and damaged skin. Instead of using these harsh methods, consider exfoliating as a healthier alternative. Products that contain AHA and BHA, like the Brightening Triple Acid Exfoliant and a good facial exfoliating scrub, can help remove dead skin cells, unclog pores, and promote skin renewal without causing damage. Exfoliation encourages smoother skin texture, builds radiance, and diminishes the appearance of blackheads over time when used consistently. It's vital to select exfoliation products tailored to your skin type and concerns to achieve your best results. By prioritizing gentle yet effective solutions, you can nurture your skin and maintain its natural glow!

Remember, kids, Goop Beauty is the same brand that peddles pseudoscience and has gotten in trouble with the FDA for lying about their products and the “health benefits” of using them, when those same products were more likely to cause harm to users. Maybe don’t trust them with your money. Also, “clean” beauty is just a fear-based marketing term that often means whatever the company wants it to mean. There’s no single definition or even a clear qualification or regulation for “clean beauty”. Often, this means that the ingredients are less effective than their “dirty” counterparts, which can lead to products going bad faster and molding, which can cause acne and infections. Rael’s a pretty decent brand, though, I haven’t heard anything bad about them.
