I’ve learned not to take it personally because often, people only bring what they have inside themselves. This mindset shift has helped me maintain my emotional balance and avoid carrying unnecessary burdens. When others project their insecurities or unhappiness, it reflects more about their inner state than about me. By realizing that "la gente solo da lo que tiene" (people only give what they have), I no longer absorb the emptiness or negativity of others. This has been freeing and empowering. Practicing this has improved my relationships and wellbeing. Instead of reacting emotionally, I maintain a compassionate distance, focusing on my growth and positive energy. It’s a form of self-care that protects me from emotional drain. I encourage anyone struggling with negativity around them to try this approach. It’s not about ignoring others but about protecting your mental space and recognizing your own worth. This mindset also motivates you to give your best without depending on how others behave. Remember, resilience comes from within, and you don’t have to carry the voids of others.
