CHUBB LIFE INSURANCE IS OUT OF THE COUNTRY
The world-renowned Chubb Insurance Company followed by the departure of Myanmar employees were blackout without pay.

After Chubb Life Insurance, one of the world's largest US insurance businesses that entered the country in 2019 with a century of foreign investment, decided to leave the country permanently, Burmese employees have a full-scale wage and full-scale investigation for December.
According to an employee, many of the company's senior officials have resigned from their jobs, and last October, the head of human resources (HR Head), the head of sales (Sales Head) and the CEO also stepped down in November.
As a result, at present, all business access and Facebook Page of staff in the Myanmar Office have been shut down simultaneously.
"On December 12, both people and minds all collapsed," an employee told me. "The staff worked overtime (OT) even during the holidays at the end of November, but now they face the issue of not even receiving the December salary.
At present, due to the fact that the Chubb side has not issued any termination (Termination Letter) and has severed contact, the staff members have even found it difficult to obtain a right under the law. The employee contract (Employment Contract) is also in the HR chamber in the office, and the employees are no longer in possession.
"I don't know where compensation is. At the moment, I'm not even sure about employee salaries, OT fees. The employees who are dependent on this salary are in trouble. There are no more BODs," another employee told me.
Government departments' response insurance supervisory organization (FRD) initially said it would arrange the issue of employees' pay, but so far nothing has made any difference.
There has been strong worldwide criticism by a large international company with about 34,000 employees worldwide and nearly $200 billion in investment over such a lack of responsibility, accountability and marginalization of employees.
Chubb Life Insurance Myanmar has announced that it will return 100 per cent of subscription premiums to insurance policy owners, but the employees' rights to which the company has tried its best are still missing.
