According to Singapore police, more than 72 people have so far lost a total of more than 400,000 8,000 Singapore dollars ($484,000) due to this scam.

⚠️ How did they cheat?

1. Email will come to you "Your Digital Token is about to expire"

2. That Email will include a Link called "Update."

3. If you click on that Link, you'll get into a fake DBS / POSB website and ask for your User ID, Password and OTPs

4. As soon as you type in, the money in your account is starting to be transferred out of foreign currency

💡 Don't forget (Golden Rules):

* Banks never send an SMS or Email with Link

* Digital Token can only be made in the bank's Official App. Besides, never do it through Link

* Don't tell anyone (even if it's a bank employee) his OTP

✅ How to protect yourself?

* Put the ScamShield App on the phone
