Thailand's Nonthauri extinguishes massive factory fire with more than 30 fire trucks
On April 19, 2026, around 12.30pm, a massive fire broke out at a factory producing glasses and medical equipment in Bang Bua Thong district, Nonthaburi province
The fire started from the second floor of the 4-storey building, where flames and smoke quickly spread to the fourth floor
Nearby municipalities had to extinguish more than 30 fire engines, and the fire was brought under control after about an hour
During this fire, almost everything from the second to the fourth floor of the facility was destroyed, but fortunately all the factory personnel were able to evacuate to safety in time
At the time of the fire, employees were able to circle and carry some valuables out of the plant, and there are currently no casualties or injuries.
The district governor and relevant officials came to check on the scene
At present, there is only a small amount of smoke left, so firefighters have to go back into the building and continue to spray water
The real cause of the fire and the value of the damage will be examined in detail by forensic examination officers of the state of Nunthaburi
As the factory was in a densely populated area, the fire service officers took extra caution to ensure there was no fire infection
