Singer Oliver Tree was just 32 when a helicopter crash in Brazil involved 6 people.
Oliver Tree, who first achieved fame at the age of 17 in 2010 with artists such as Skrillex and the Zeds Dead, died Sunday morning after two helicopters collided in the air in southwestern Rio de Janeiro. Tree was one of six people killed in that tragedy.
According to the Rio de Janeiro Civil Police and CNN Brazil, Tree and four others - Lucas Vignale, Gaspar Prim, Lucas Brito Chaves and pilot Alexandre Souza - were in a helicopter, while the second one included only his YouTube pilot Charles Marsillac, who is known as Gaspar Creator, who is also known as Gaspar Prime, aged only 22. The Rio de Janeiro Military Fire Department said a helicopter crashed in the parking lot of a car dealership where several electric cars were parked. Then the aircraft caught fire and was quickly extinguished. An investigation is under way to determine the cause of the injury.
Tree was just 17 years old when he first entered the public eye with major electronic artists such as Skrillex and Zeds Dead. He released an independent album in 2013, but then left the music industry to learn the music technology of "Beautiful Life." The 200-year-old music goes on.
In the years that followed, Cowboy Tears, Alone in a Crowd and Love You Madly were released in April 2026. In order to support the album, Tree made a concert in Lisbon, Portugal, on July 1, as well as concerts across the United States, Europe, Australia and China.
