🇺🇬🤴 Uganda's youngest king dies
The Government of Uganda and the Government of the country of Tooro reported that Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, the traditional king of Uganda, died on 27 August 2026 at the age of 34. Iguru, of the age of three, was the king of the Tooro Kingdom Toto country in the west of Uganda, when he was the most senior of the reign.

He was suffering from cancer before his death and died on the evening of August 27 while receiving treatment in the United States, the premier of the country of Tooro said in a statement.
