💵 HOW TO SAVE MONEY IN 2026 💵
Let’s be real — saving money is hard when you barely have any to save 😩
But the key is understanding your debt-to-income ratio and building from there.
⸻
1️⃣ Know Your Numbers 📊
Try to keep your bills equal to half your income.
If your half of rent is $800, aim to make at least $1,600 — but don’t forget to factor in everything else:
💡 Utilities (water, power, garbage)
📶 Wi-Fi & phone
🚗 Insurance & credit cards
Your lifestyle should fit your budget — not the other way around!
⸻
2️⃣ Try a “No Spend Week” 💸
This is my favorite way to reset every pay period.
I get paid bi-weekly, so one week I challenge myself to spend zero dollars (except gas ⛽).
Avoiding stores and takeout adds up fast, and it keeps me focused on what I actually need.
⸻
3️⃣ Avoid Impulse Buys 🛍️
We’ve all gone into a store for one thing and left with 10… 😅
Use free store pickup when possible — it saves time and keeps you from wandering the aisles adding extra stuff to your cart.
⸻
✨ Little habits = big savings over time!
